Alturas Library Calendar Lists Preschool Story Time for Thursday, November 5

ALTURAS — November 2, 2026. The Modoc County Library calendar lists a preschool story time at the Alturas Main Library for Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Where and when

The event appears on the library’s public calendar under Alturas Main Library. The main branch is located at 212 West Third Street. Families should check the current calendar or call the library for any updates before arriving.

What families can expect

The library provides children’s resources and literacy activities in addition to book borrowing. A calendar listing does not guarantee a specific performer or activity format; parents can ask staff about age recommendations, accommodation requests and whether advance registration is required.

Why early literacy events matter

Shared reading and social activities provide opportunities for children and caregivers in a county with widely separated communities. This is an announcement of a listed event, not a review or confirmation of attendance.
